Upcoming Events

We are now welcoming everyone to our new space in Lloyd Center, with events at least once a week, including workshops. We are also continuing our gear lending program, and have begun offering Studio Hours as well.

Many of our workshops hit capacity, so be sure to grab a ticket before they sell out! To stay up to date about future Synth Library events keep an eye on this always-updating webpage, follow our socials, and make you’re signed up for our newsletter!

Open Library Hours
All are welcome to join us for an informal open house at the synth library. Meet our facilitators, explore our collection of gear, and find out more about our Studio Hours and our Lending Program. We will have instruments set up and ready for solo or collaborative jamming. It's a great way to find like-minded friends and collaborators! We can nerd out about our music tools, ask and answer questions about our craft, play some music together, or explore the library's vast array of instruments in an inviting environment. We will answer questions about our gear, event programming, and membership + volunteer opportunities if you want to get more involved.

Modbang PDX
A live event celebrating hardware-only electronic music. All proceeds benefit Synth Library Portland.  Modbang is a live music event dedicated to showcasing local talent in the electronic music community. What sets Modbang apart is its strict adherence to hardware-only performances – no computers allowed. This unique restriction challenges artists to push the boundaries of creativity and skill using only their hardware setups.
